U.S. cablenet TLC has commissioned Charlie Sheen: On The Brink, a quick turnaround documentary focusing on the titular actor’s recent outbursts and controversy, to air March 20.

The hour-long doc is produced by Peacock Productions, and will explore the reasons behind the various exploits that have kept the actor in the headlines as of late.

The doc will update and use footage from NBC News’s recent interview with the actor, which was conducted by journalist Jeff Rossen. It promises behind-the-scenes footage and new expert commentary, including MacKenzie Phillips discussing her life as a celebrity who has dealt with drugs and recovery.

The doc also promises to take viewers inside Sheen’s home and examines the relationships with the women in his life and his children.

Sheen was recently fired from his hit CBS sitcom Two And A Half Men after making statements critical of the show’s creator, Chuck Lorre. Recent interviews have seen him firing off a number of bizarre statements and admissions, including that he is a “warlock” who drinks “tiger blood.”
