BuzzTaxi to launch “Sibling Rivalry” at MIPTV

Sibling Rivalry, a new lifestyle and design docusoap, is the first product out of the gate from the relationship between Toronto-based distributor BuzzTaxi Communications and Cream Productions.

Sibling Rivalry, a new lifestyle and design docusoap, is the first product out of the gate out from the relationship between Toronto-based distributor BuzzTaxi Communications and Cream Productions.

The 13×30-minute series, which was produced in HD for Canada’s W Network,  features twins Dan and Nikki Hall, who will compete in a design and build competition. The winner will have the home with a higher value.

The series will debut at MIPTV, along with other factual programming being shopped by BuzzTaxi. Titles include Untamed Gourmet (6 x 30 min in HD), produced by the 291 Film Company for APTN, which explores the connection between food and the land; Associated Producers’ Secrets of Christianity (6 x 1 hour in HD), which examines the fact and fiction behind the birth of Christianity; and two new factual specials from MDF Productions for the History Channel in Canada – The Real Vampire Diaries (1 x 1 hour in HD), which looks for the truth in vampire legend, and The Real Jack the Ripper (1 x 1 hour in HD), in which new perspectives are revealed on the terrible deeds of the murderous historical figure.

Lastly, BuzzTaxi will be representing Uakari: Secrets of the English Monkey (1 x 1 hour in HD), spotlighting the elusive Red-Faced Uakari Monkey. Gryphon Productions produced the film for CBC.
