Good Food orders up “Valentine Warner: Coast to Coast”

Optomen Television has been commissioned by Good Food to produce Valentine Warner: Coast to Coast, a cooking show starring the British chef with a focus on fish.

Optomen Television has been commissioned by Good Food to produce Valentine Warner: Coast to Coast, a cooking show starring the chef with a focus on fish.

The 5 x 60-episode series was commissioned by UKTV’s director of commissioning, Jane Rogerson and was ordered by Good Food’s channel head, Richard Kingsbury, and UKTV’s director of multi-platform, lifestyle and factual, Jane Mote.

Warner travels from the waters of the North Atlantic, off the Cornish coast, to the Norfolk coast and the North Sea in search of the freshest and tastiest fish. His journeys will include meeting people who share his passion of catching, cooking and eating fish, and viewers will also see the chef cooking up dishes on location.

UKTV’s commissioning editor, factual & lifestyle Catherine Whelton said in a release, “This series is designed to educate and inspire Good Food’s audience about the variety of fish that is available on our own doorstep. We’re delighted to be working with Optomen and Valentine Warner, as his passion for fish really shines through.”

This is the second series that Optomen Television has teamed up with Warner on, the first being BBC Two’s What To Eat Now series.

The series is overseen by UKTV’s Catherine Whelton, with Charlotte Winby as series producer for Optomen Television.
