Nat Geo Channel’s 3D content heads to Poland

Platform 'n' and FOX International Channels Poland have partnered together to offer the National Geographic Channel HD on Poland's satellite platform lineup.

Platform ‘n’ and FOX International Channels Poland have partnered together to offer the National Geographic Channel HD on the Polish satellite platform’s lineup.

With the addition of National Geographic Channel, Platform ‘n’ now offers an expanded HD channel roster of 26. The agreement also includes over 20 hours of National Geographic Channel 3D content, which will premiere on nShow3D and VOD.

“This partnership is of strategic importance since it strengthens our position as the premium HD and 3D content provider in the Polish marketplace,” said Christian Anting, COO of Platform ‘n.’

From National Geographic’s 3D production slate, nShow3D will debut The Eye 3D, which gives a view from the most powerful optic telescope in the world; Blowdown 3D, which follows a team of explosive demolition experts as they implode iconic structures; Meerkats 3D, which provides a different view of the family life of meerkats; and Polar Bears 3D, which reveals amazing footage of a mother and her baby polar bear.
