HGTV renews eight series

The Scripps network has ordered new episodes for House Hunters, House Hunters International, Property Virgins and five other programs.

Scripps Networks’ HGTV has renewed eight of its best-performing series.

New episodes have been ordered for House Hunters and its spin-off House Hunters International, as well as for two shows geared towards first-time homeowners, My First Place and Property Virgins.

Also renewed are For Rent and Real Estate Intervention and two series featuring Mike Holmes – All-American Handyman, hosted by Molly Culver and with Holmes as a judge, and Holmes Inspection, starring the Canadian contractor.
