Syfy orders more “Fact or Faked”

Reality series Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files, a copro between BASE Productions and Universal Networks International, is getting an additional episode order from Syfy.

Reality series Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files, a copro between BASE Productions and Universal Networks International, is getting an additional episode order from Syfy.

Production will begin on new 12 one-hour episodes, which will be added to the second season, set to air in October 2011.

Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files features a team of scientists, journalists, photographers, tech specialists and a former FBI special agent as they investigate web videos that claim to capture paranormal and unexplainable phenomena.

The series has delivered series highs for Syfy, averaging 1.5 million total viewers per week in its second season airing so far.
