A&E has revealed new series The First 48: Missing Persons, a spin-off of The First 48, will launch on June 2.

The reality series follows the Chicago Police Department’s missing persons unit, which is one of the only major police departments in the U.S. that responds to every missing persons call immediately, in the first 48 hours of their search for missing loved ones.

Found Films gets unrestricted access to the Chicago Police Department’s ongoing investigations in every hour-long episode.

The executive producers for The First 48: Missing Persons are Robert Schneiger, Gary Sherman and Conrad Riggs for Found Films, LLC, and for A&E Network, Robert Sharenow and Laura Fleury.
