Franco-German cultural broadcaster ARTE has signed on as a coproduction partner for Dylan Nelson and Dan Sturms’ Hollywood Complex, a verité-styled doc that shines the spotlight on the child actors and families that flock to a Hollywood housing complex during pilot season.

The film, distributed internationally by PBS International and one of realscreen‘s MIPTV Picks for 2011, is also to be distributed domestically by Andrew Herwitz’s The Film Sales Company.

Hollywood Complex is currently appearing at the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival. To see a trailer from the project, click here.
