Chocolate Media adds new ingredients

The NBCUniversal International-owned factual company has hired on talent from Maverick TV, Eyeworks and the BBC.

NBCUniversal International’s Chocolate Media, the UK factual and factual entertainment production division headed by Alan Brown, has made a series of hires.

Charlotte Reid, most recently an exec producer with Maverick TV (How to Look Good Naked) and Matt Tiflin, formerly head of development at Eyeworks, have been named creative directors for the company. Reid will oversee development and production for factual programs and features, while Tifflin will lead development of entertainment formats.

Also joining Chocolate Media are Big Brother and I’m a Celebrity producer Daniel Nettleton as head of development, and Melanie Jappy, formerly with the BBC, who comes aboard as series producer for the company’s first commission, Raymond Blanc in France.

“I want Chocolate to be a great place to develop both factual and entertainment formats, and I’m really excited to be able to attract such great talent,” said Brown.
