A docu-series based on the life of tabloid regular Rachel Uchitel is in the works from Atlas Media Corp.
Uchitel was first known for a photograph of her clutching a picture of her missing fiance who worked in the World Trade Center towers on 9/11, which was splashed across newspapers across the world.
She later became the manager of the VIP sections at popular New York City and Las Vegas night clubs and was back in the spotlight as one of Tiger Woods’ alleged affairs . She followed that up with a stint on Celebrity Rehab, where she was treated for “love addiction.”
Uchitel is now a private investigator and her new career will be the focus of the Atlas series, along with her personal and business relationships. The series is being pitched to networks soon.
“Rachel is smart, engaging, and has a unique and colorful background,” says Bruce David Klein, Atlas Media’s president & executive producer. “But – surprise – she has a serious talent for private investigation, and is handling real-life cases as we speak.”
“I look forward to working with the amazing team at Atlas Media to develop a smart docu-series that will showcase the exciting world of private investigators – a world that has been my primary focus for some time now,” added Uchitel.
