Just in time for DISCOP, global producer Endemol has sold the game show format The Money Drop into the Baltic states and Serbia.

Viasat has picked up the format for 12 episodes in Estonia, 18 in Lithuania and 25 in Latvia. Viasat will produce the episodes in-house and plans to air the series later this year in primetime.

In Serbia, Pink TV has signed on for two primetime runs of 40episodes, to be produced by Adrenalin Productions and broadcast across Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.

The game show format, originating in the UK (pictured: The Million Pound Money Drop), has been sold to 27 countries around the world, including the U.S. (cancelled by Fox this past May), Australia, Germany, France, Russia and Israel.
