John Foy, co-founder of Tijuana Entertainment and one of the founders of 3 Ball Productions, has moved to Philadelphia-based ShootersTV as senior vice president.

Foy will be tasked with growing the range and volume of long-form content produced by ShootersTV (Dinner:Impossible), the reality and unscripted programming division of ShootersInc., a company that also has post-production service and commercial advertising production within its repertoire.

Foy comes from Tijuana Entertainment, the prodco he co-founded with Troy Searer. Recent productions included Obsessed and Strange Days with Bob Saget for A&E, Addicted to Food for Oprah Winfrey Network and Is She Really Going Out With Him? for MTV.

Prior to Tijuana, Foy was one of the founding partners of 3 Ball Productions (The Biggest Loser, Breaking Bonaduce) where he was until 2006. Pre-3 Ball, Foy served as vice president of production for Endemol.

”The goal is to never get pigeonholed into any one style,” said Foy. “You always want to have a broad scope of projects in development. Shooters is known for great production work, but we need to expand past that on the development side. Shooters’ work speaks for itself, and they’re a strong company that has the resources to put behind projects that they believe in.”
