Ryan Seacrest to bring “Shahs of Sunset” to Bravo

An upcoming Bravo docuseries on wealthy Persian-American friends living in Los Angeles is the latest project from Ryan Seacrest Productions.
Shahs of Sunset (w/t) will see the group of young friends balancing Rodeo Drive shopping sprees and their up-and-coming careers with traditional Persian American family life.
“The Persian American community in Los Angeles is a perfect fit for Bravo’s next great docu-series,” said Andy Cohen, EVP of original programming and development for Bravo. “The group of friends featured in our show are colorful, affluent, and fun.”
“Ryan and his team understand what our viewers want to see and when they brought us this group we responded immediately. There’s not a show like it on TV,” he added.
Seacrest is serving as executive producer on Shahs. “The series will offer rich characters and relatable storylines about everyday life – love, work, friendship and family – steeped in a diverse culture, which is wildly entertaining and fun,” he said.
