Red Arrow Entertainment Group has agreed upon a multi-year extension for its partnership with Dick de Rijk (pictured), providing the production house with exclusive access to the Dutch format developer.

The deal gives Red Arrow and its distribution house SevenOne International exclusive exploitation and distribution rights to all formats created by de Rijk during the term.  He will also continue providing pitching and creative consultation services.

Michael Schmidt, Red Arrow’s group director for creative operations and business development, said: “After 22 years in the TV business, I struggle to name another talent who can create so many ideas and with such hit potential. Dick will make a crucial contribution to the future growth of Red Arrow.”

De Rijk added: “Never touch winning teams. Having a dedicated, professional partner, total freedom to develop strategic formats, stunning distribution results – at lightning speed – and with more great new stuff lined up, Red Arrow and I have every reason to extend this very promising ride.”

De Rijk has worked with Red Arrow on an exclusive basis since 2009. Among other key formats, he has delivered the reality game show You Deserve It, which has been sold to 28 countries including ABC in the United States and Antena 3 in Spain. SevenOne manages the sale of de Rijk’s formats.
