A one-hour special on survival in the wild, where every decision could determine life or death, will air on Discovery Channel on July 28.

Who Survives? uses re-enactments and first-person testimony to tell the stories of two wilderness survival events where only person survived.

The special will retrace step-by-step journeys of two different hikers, and will feature life-saving tips and facts on how to deal with nature’s harsh and unpredictable conditions.

Additionally, Who Survives? has interviews with the search and rescue team members from these events, as well as with the hikers’ friends and family.
