Arts and culture network Ovation is teaming up with design expert Lisa S. Roberts and Nancy Glass Productions for an original series called My Design Life.

Premiering on August 24 at 8 p.m. EST, the 10-part, half hour series will debut with two back-to-back episodes showcasing Roberts and her design team gathering inspiration for Roberts’ upcoming design book.

The series will journey behind the scenes at the Cooper-Hewitt Museum and the Philadelphia Museum of Art; design studios; retail stores and restaurants, and will give viewers the history behind unique designs. A My Design Life marathon will air on September 21, featuring all 10 episodes.

“Lisa has a knack for sniffing out the most interesting, beautiful and practical designs,” said Kris Slava, Ovation’s senior VP of programming. “With her design crew always on the ready to discover the next great product, they share the art of the ‘find’ with us all.”

My Design Life is produced by Nancy Glass Productions and is executive produced by Nancy Glass, Sara Baxter and Roberts.
