Atlas Media Corp makes two senior appointments

New York-based prodco Atlas Media Corp. is promoting Jeanne McHale Waite to EVP/general manager and hiring Abby Strauss as VP of production.

New York-based prodco Atlas Media Corp. is promoting Jeanne McHale Waite to EVP/general manager and hiring on Abby Strauss as VP of production.

Both appointments are effective immediately.

Waite was previously Atlas’ SVP and in her new role, will continue to facilitate the growth of the prodco, overseeing the production, post-production, operations and legal/business affairs departments. She will also liaise between those departments and programming and development.

Waite has been with Atlas Media for five years and prior to that, was CEO of Banyan Productions (Trading Spaces).

Meanwhile, Strauss comes to the prodco having overseen productions that have aired on a variety of networks including HBO, TLC, Bravo and Comedy Central.

In her new role as VP of production, Strauss is responsible for budgeting, cost reporting, growth management, as well as hiring and supervising all EICs and line producers. She will report to McHale Waite.
