OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network is lining up a primetime special promising an intimate look at singer Celine Dion, to premiere October 1 in the U.S. and a day later in Canada.

The 90-minute special, Celine: 3 Boys and a New Show (pictured above), takes viewers behind-the-scenes as the chanteuse creates her Las Vegas show ‘Celine’ while balancing being an international performer and a mother.

It is produced by Canada’s Productions J and exec produced by Julie Snyder and Marianik Giffard.

“Celine is not only a dynamic performer, but she’s also an incredibly dedicated mother and wife,” said Lisa Erspamer, exec VP of production and development at OWN.  “This special is an inside look at her life and how she balances her amazing career with being a mom.”

Dion said that she was “so happy to be able to work with Oprah in the early stages of her new network,” adding: “What she’s doing is amazing, and I’m honored to be a small part of it.”
