TLC International opens the door for “Swinger Wives”

Discovery Networks International (DNI) has greenlit Swinger Wives, a pilot looking at four American couples who live double lives as swingers, made by Red Line Films and set to air on TLC internationally in select markets.
The pilot is set in Atlanta, Georgia, and will explore “the complex nuances of the relationships and psychology behind this way of life, showing the issues that swinging couples face and how they keep it hidden from family, friends and co-workers,” according to DNI.
Swinger Wives is produced by Peter Franchella, Al Szymanski, Aaron Rothman, Cherie Kloss and Nick Budabin for Red Line Films, and by Jon Sechrist (Cake Boss, Sister Wives) for TLC International.
Illustrating the importance of strong communication and solid relationships, these couples are proud of how “normal” and functioning they are in a society that shuns their lifestyle.
DNI has not yet specified the territories in which Swinger Wives will air.
