Food Network UK is launching its second UK-commissioned program in October.

Reza’s Indian Food Palaces (working title), is a 10 x 30-minute gastro-tourism series following top restaurateur Reza Mahammad, traveling to India to unveil Rajasthan food and royal feasting traditions. Every episode will spotlight local palaces and gastronomy, with chef and host Mahammad putting his own contemporary spin on two traditional Indian dishes.

“Reza’s Indian Food Palaces is a perfect mix of adventure travel and recipe-based advice coupled with local flavors, and represents only the beginning of what’s to come on Food Network,” said Nick Thorogood, managing director of Food Network EMEA.

Chef Mahammad has been in the restaurant business since he was 16 years old, inheriting his father’s The Star of India – one of London’s most acclaimed Indian restaurants.
