OWN gets confrontational with new docuseries

The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) is set to air RelativityREAL’s Confronting (pictured), a series that goes inside prison mediation programs and captures the moments in which victims and offenders come face to face.

Premiering on OWN on September 17 at 10 p.m. EST/PST, the one-hour series documents the  journeys of victims and offenders trying to coming to terms with the events that link them.

In the premiere episode, the parents of a 21-year-old woman killed in a drunk driving accident visit with the driver, while other episodes will feature a woman confronting a man who stabbed and killed her mother almost two decades ago, and a wife and daughter who meet the man who beat and suffocated their husband and father.

Confronting is executive produced by RelativityREAL’s Tom Forman and Jonathan Karsh.
