Digital distributor Syndicado has signed a content distribution agreement with Austrian distributor Autlook, in a deal that will bring the latter’s library of feature documentaries to digital service providers in North America.

Autlook titles that will be made available via Syndicado’s library include Accordion Tribe, Every Seventh Person, Zoro’s Bar Mitzvah, The Beast Within, Children of the Prophet, and Vienna’s Lost Daughters.

“We continue to grow our library of feature length documentaries,” says Greg Rubidge, president of the Toronto-headquartered Syndicado, “offering digital service providers a curated, competitive and deep offering in this genre, which continues to perform well across all platforms.”

Peter Jager, head of Autlook film sales, added that his company was looking forward “to bringing an ongoing slate of our award-winning documentaries to new audiences, beyond traditional distribution platforms.

“The move extends our audience exposure in North America for our filmmakers and library, offering new revenue opportunities that we didn’t have before.”
