Al Roker teams up with CRM Entertainment’s Muth

Al Roker Entertainment has entered into a production venture with C. Russell Muth, executive producer of CRM Entertainment, with upcoming collaborations including The Weather Channel's Coast Guard Alaska, A&E's Bordertown: Laredo (pictured), and Spike TV's Big Easy Justice.

Al Roker Entertainment has entered into a production venture with C. Russell Muth, executive producer of CRM Entertainment, and three U.S. cable series are already in the works.

Upcoming collaborations including The Weather Channel’s Coast Guard Alaska,which premieres on November 9, and A&E’s Bordertown: Laredo (pictured above), a 10 x 30-minute series following the Laredo Police Department’s Narcotics Unit, premiering on October 13.

Spike TV’s Big Easy Justice, meanwhile, will debut in 2012. The two media companies previously worked together on Spike’s D.E.A. and Animal Planet’s Last Chance Highway.

“We are thrilled to continue our thriving working relationship with CRM Entertainment,” said Al Roker, CEO of Al Roker Entertainment. “Russell is a skilled executive producer and showrunner, and we look forward to leveraging his expertise on future projects.”

Muth added: “I am truly looking forward to partnering with Al Roker Entertainment on these current shows, and many more future projects.”
