“Extreme Fishing” sells internationally

A range of international broadcasters have acquired adventure series Extreme Fishing from distributor Zodiak Rights, including Discovery Communication's new channel Velocity.

A range of international broadcasters have acquired adventure series Extreme Fishing from distributor Zodiak Rights, including Discovery Communication’s new channel Velocity.

Seasons three and four of Extreme Fishing has been acquired by Australia’s XYZ Entertainment and Network 10, while New Zealand’s TVNZ  has also picked up the whole series.

Discovery Networks Europe, BBC Worldwide Global Channels, Channel 4 Finland, NRK in Norway, Sweden’s TV4, Denmark’s TV2 and Holland’s RTL, TVN S.A in Poland and Israel’s Ananey have also acquired Extreme Fishing.

Velocity has picked up series three to five of Extreme Fishing, totaling 26 hours of programming.

The adventure series, produced by Zodiak Media Group’s IWC Media for UK network Channel 5, profiles the greatest fishing destinations around the globe with host Robson Green. Zodiak Rights has worldwide distribution rights to the series.
