Gordon Ramsay’s prodco One Potato Two Potato is set to produce an unscripted series for Fox, Hotel Hell (working title), which takes the celebrity chef out of the kitchen and into struggling hotels across America.

Ramsay, who has experience running restaurants in top hotels, traveling the world and running a boutique hotel in London, will join a team of hospitality experts to help out hotels, motels and bed & breakfasts. He will go head-to-head in his inimitable style with owners and staff to turn around these failing establishments.

“Gordon is amazing to work with and no matter what the premise, he delivers every time,” said Mike Darnell, president of alternative entertainment at Fox Broadcasting Company. “With an unprecedented three shows already on the air, Gordon is an incredible television success, and we’re really thrilled to put him through Hotel Hell on Fox.”

Ramsay fronts MasterChef, Kitchen Nightmares and Hell’s Kitchen, all for Fox. He said: “These are stories that everyone can relate to, because virtually all of us have had a bad hotel experience that’s turned a holiday or business trip into a total disaster. It’s time to put the hospitality industry to the test.”

The Conlin Company is currently casting for hotel, motel or B&B owners to take part. Gordon Ramsay, Adeline Ramage Rooney, Patricia Llewellyn and Ben Adler serve as executive producers.
