Beginning on October 4 at 9 p.m. EST, Viking Wilderness’ hour-long episodes focus on the life and death struggles for most species that call Scandinavia home.

Highlights from the four-part mini-series include the ongoing battle for food between brown bears and wolf packs, musk oxen duels, and Arctic fox cubs learning to survive.

Carl Hall and Amanda Theunissen are the executive producers for Parthenon, and Mick Kaczorowski is the exec producer for Animal Planet.
