Zodiak Media Group has promoted Johannes Jensen (pictured) to CEO of its Zodiak Nordic division.

Jensen was formerly the VP for the Scandinavian division of Zodiak Media Group, which contains such prodcos as Mastiff, Jarowskij and Broadcasters. He will run the division alongside chief operating officer Jens Eriksson, chief creative officer Joel Karsberg and chief financial officer Mikael Royson.

Productions made by the companies within the division include regional versions of Paradise Hotel, Strictly Come Dancing, Don’t Forget The Lyrics, So You Think You Can Dance, Secret Millionaire and Fort Boyard. In the spring of 2011, the division launched its own format development company, Zodiak Dreams.

“I have extremely high hopes that we will continue to produce successful existing formats and create new thrilling ideas in all genres with an international potential,” said Jensen. “I’m really inspired to be working amongst some of the top creators and producers in the Nordic region in these exciting times.”

“We are very confident that, working alongside the rest of Zodiak Media Group, Zodiak Nordic is well prepared to deliver on its goal, and are excited to have the opportunity to support Johannes and the whole Nordic team as they continue to develop a number of very promising new formats,” added David Frank, CEO, Zodiak Media Group.
