Viacom’s VIMN sells “16 & Pregnant” into Ukraine

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN), formerly MTV Networks International, has established a number of format deals in the run up to next week’s MIPCOM market, for titles including 16 & Pregnant and Punk’d.

The company has penned an agreement to have formatted doc show 16 & Pregnant adapted in Ukraine, with a local version set to air on commercial network STB next spring.

VIMN has also signed its first deal in Latin America for reality show Punk’d, with BTF Venture set to produce a pilot episode of the prank-focused series for Mexico’s TV Azteca, and a view to producing a full series in 2012.

The show will be hosted by Mexican TV personality Ines Gomez Mont, in the role made famous in the U.S. by Ashton Kutcher.

Finally, in the UK market, Scottish TV has picked up an option for the format of BET’s hidden-camera show S.O.B. (Socially Offensive Behaviour).

Among the new titles VIMN will be debuting at MIPCOM will be MTV’s One Bad Trip, which follows a group of teens on wild partying holidays, unaware that their parents or partners are secretly spying on them; and Born to Dance, a competitive reality format from BET, which gives aspiring dancers the chance to be mentored by a top choreographer.
