Anglo-Dutch distributor Off the Fence (OTF) has inked a deal to handle TV and other select rights for some 140 titles from Sundance Selects/IFC Films’ line-up, for worldwide territories excluding the U.S.

The package deal covers 40 documentaries and 100 drama, genre and comedy film titles, including Before the Music Dies, a documentary that looks at the evolution of American popular music and discusses the marketing of contemporary pop stars.

Bo Stehmeier, OTF’s MD of Sales, said: “This is the first time OTF has procured fiction for our catalog so it marks a very exciting stage in the company’s development. IFC Films is a highly respected distributor and we are extremely proud to represent these new titles which have already proved highly popular with cinema audiences.”

Lisa Schwartz, exec VP of distribution, operations and new business development for Sundance Selects/IFC Films, added: “We’re looking forward to working with Bo and his team at OTF at finding the right homes for our films internationally. We have a vast, diverse line up of films and we believe OTF is the perfect company to ensure our films are placed to match the perfect audience.”

Sundance Selects and IFC Films are sister divisions to IFC Midnight, and are owned and operated by AMC Networks.
