New York City-based prodco Leftfield Pictures, headed by Brent Montgomery (pictured) has upped two producers to senior positions and made three key hires in development and production.

Brooke Meredith, most recently senior director of development with New York City-based KPI, has joined Leftfield in the same capacity. She will report directly to Leftfield’s vice president of development, Rob Shaftel.

Julie Louis has also been hired on as a development producer, and brings with her experience as a producer on such series as ABC’s Wife Swap and TLC’s What Not to Wear.

Shawn Witt, formerly an exec producer on such MTV series as Total Request Live, Pranked and Parental Control, has been hired as an EP at Leftfield and will oversee two as-yet-unannounced series for the prodco – one for ABC and one for Travel Channel.

The promoted execs at the prodco are Courtney Montgomery, who has moved up to become the company’s first head of production following a stint in producing, casting and production management, and Tonko Soljan, upped to executive in charge of production and tasked with serving as network liaison on every Leftfield project. The former head of production for Entropy Films joined Leftfield in 2010 as a line producer.
