Ahead of its More4 premiere in the UK tonight (October 11), feature documentary Kissinger, a profile on U.S. political diplomat Henry Kissinger (pictured), has been licensed by distributor MercuryMedia International to a further eight networks.

The Chimerica Media film, directed by Adrian Penninck for National Geographic, was licensed to Phoenix in China, NRK in Norway, TVI in Portugal, Noga in Israel, Estonia’s ERR, Saudi Arabia’s Al Arabiya, Channel 4′s More4 in the UK and Australia’s SBS.

Historian Niall Ferguson interviews Kissinger in the two-hour special, which already aired on National Geographic in the U.S.

Mercury chief executive Tim Sparke said: “Kissinger’s influence has left a lasting imprint. Pennink’s unique film is similarly enigmatic, encapsulating Kissinger’s complexity, his drive and his passions.”
