Anglo-Dutch producer-distributor Off The Fence (OTF) has sold 80 hours of programming, including titles such as Wildest Africa and Monkey Thieves, to a host of North American networks.

In Canada, HIFI has acquired a package of wildlife content totalling close to 50 hours, including Wildest Africa (13×60′), the third season of Monkey Thieves (13×30′), and Rocket Compulsion (1×60′).

The broadcaster has also bought a set of Star Wars documentaries from Lucas Film, which features Star Wars Tech, The Star Wars Legacy Revealed and Star Warriors.

Elsewhere, Teletoon has bought Stan Lee’s Superhumans (9×60′). An OTF production hosted by Stan Lee, co-creator of Spiderman and the X-Men, the series joins his search for people with real-life super-powers.

E! Canada, part of the Bell Media group, has acquired lifestyle series Joan and Melissa: Joan Knows Best (18×60′) which follows comedic icon Joan Rivers and her daughter Melissa as they go about their daily lives.

Finally, in the U.S., Fuel TV has bought Storm Surfers (2×60′) which charts the adventures of two Australian surfers as they hunt the biggest waves of the season.

Adam Block, Off The Fence’s senior VP of U.S. and Canada, said: “Our New York office has been hugely successful since it opened two years ago, growing by 25%. We’re realising this growth by expanding our business with existing clients, as well as creating supply lines for new clients.”
