3net lines up “Bloody Good” 3D debuts

3D joint venture channel 3net, from Sony, Discovery and IMAX, is set to debut 15 world 3D premieres, including a food and travel series Bloody Good (pictured), and a new 3D on-air look during November.
The 3net original series premiere of Bloody Good on November 20 sees author and host Mark Schatzker searching the world for the best, weirdest and boldest meats. The 3D food series is produced by Paper Route Productions with 3net VP of production and development Tim Pastore serving as executive producer.
Other programming highlights include the broadcast premiere on November 6 of 3D concert Peter Gabriel: New Blood Live from Eagle Rock Entertainment and holiday favorite The IMAX Nutcracker on November 27. The non-ballet adaptation of the holiday fairy tale will be screened on TV in 3D for the first time.
Also debuting are new episodes from the children’s series Dream Defenders and Bolts & Blip as well as 3net original programs The Ancient Life, Experience 3D and World Cities.
The network’s all-new broadcast design will debut on November 4.
“From new original series, to world television premieres and the debut of a brave new on-air design, 3net is continuing to move boldly ahead as we strive to bring consumers the most dynamic and immersive in-home 3D experience possible,” said Tom Cosgrove, president & CEO of 3net.
