U.S. cable net History has ordered 10 episodes of Real Deal, which sees buyers and sellers haggling over antiques, from Zodiak USA.

The series, based on RDF Television’s format Dickinson’s Real Deal, will premiere on November 25 on History at 9 p.m. EST, and aims to “capture the pressure of the pursuit.” Dealers and sellers alike will determine what is the worth of items, ranging from an autograph from Harry Houdini to a 19th century spittoon.

Real Deal is executive produced for History by Zodiak USA’s Natalka Znak, Claire O’Donohoe and Rhett Bachner while Carl Lindahl is executive producer for History. Zodiak Rights owns worldwide distribution rights for finished shows and the format for Real Deal.

Meanwhile, in the UK, the eighth season of Dickinson’s Real Deal has just been commissioned by ITV1.
