“Clean House” host lands TLC docuseries

Actress/comedienne Niecy Nash, the former host of The Style Network's Clean House, is starring in her own docuseries on TLC, produced by Shed Media US.

Actress/comedienne Niecy Nash, the former host of The Style Network’s Clean House and a past Dancing with the Stars contestant, is starring in her own docuseries on TLC, produced by Shed Media US.

Airing in early 2012,  the currently untitled, eight-episode series will follow up last June’s TLC two-hour event Niecy Nash’s Wedding Bash, which followed Nash down the aisle as she married Jay Tucker. The series will document Nash and Tucker as they make a home together with Nash’s three teenage children and her mother, and Tucker’s son.

“This series will reveal the journey of bringing a blended family together, and Niecy brings her heartfelt and often hysterical views of being a hard-working mom, wife and daughter,” said TLC general manager Amy Winter. “Our audience shared in her beautiful and boisterous wedding, and will now get to see what’s happening after the honeymoon.”
