Two half-hour specials, produced by Authentic Entertainment and following the exploits of a sci-fi speed dating service, will air back-to-back on U.S. network TLC on December 18.

Geek Love will focus on entrepreneur Ryan Giltch and his business, Sci-Fi Speed Dating, which caters towards a “geeky” clientele. The specials will bring viewers into the quirky and sometimes bizarre world of speed dating for nerds, which includes social events at mass nerd gatherings.

New York’s Comic-Con is the setting for Geek Love, and Authentic’s cameras will get the behind-the-scenes look at the stories behind the daters and follow their speed dating journeys.
