A new entrant in the “artifactual” genre will be premiering across Discovery’s portfolio of factual networks in the UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific and Latin America beginning in December.

The six-part series Dealers will follow the action as ordinary people present their rare objects to a team of five international dealers, who will also use their own money to bid against each other for items in hopes of scoring a big pay-off.

Dealers is an unfiltered look into the highly skilled art of selling and buying, while simultaneously exploring a range of fascinating objects and their history from around the world,” said Elizabeth McIntyre, head of production and development, factual, Discovery Networks Western Europe. “Filmed in a secret Aladdin’s cave-like warehouse in London, neither the dealers nor the viewers at home ever know what will come through the door next.”

The Fever Media-produced series is executive produced by McIntyre for Discovery Networks International and David Mortimer for Fever Media.
