Australian broadcaster ABC has commissioned wildlife game show Bindi’s Bootcamp, which will be the first property to emerge from a partnership between FremantleMedia Enterprises; Terri, Bindi and Robert Irwin; and the Australia Zoo.

ABC commissioned FremantleMedia Australia, in association with Sticky Pictures, to produce the series, which will be shot at the Australia Zoo in Queensland, Australia.

Hosted by Bindi Irwin (Bindi: The Jungle Girl), the series sees three teams join Irwin on an adventure across zoo, jungle, safari and savannah locations, where they will test knowledge, strength and endurance to become an official “Wildlife Warrior.”

Sander Schwartz, president of kids and family entertainment at FME, said: “Bindi is an amazing young talent and will infuse this series with fun, excitement and charm. The Irwins have dedicated their lives to protecting endangered species and supporting wildlife and nature conservation, an ethos that forms the basis for all the fun, adventure and mayhem that will be a part of this show.”

The partnership will see FME handle all brand licensing and distribution rights to Bindi’s Bootcamp.
