International broadcaster Chello Zone has acquired three non-fiction series to air on its Zone Reality channel in the New Year, including the latest eighth season of BBC series Who Do You Think You Are?

The show joins the net’s line-up, along with series five of the documentary series Born To Be Different and New Zealand-based police series Police Ten 7.

All have been acquired from Warner Bros. International Television Production to transmit across Zone Reality territories EMEA1, EMEA2 and the broadcaster’s Polish feed.

Sam Rowden, director of programming for Zone Reality, said: “These honest and inspiring real-life stories offer original takes on history, health and criminal justice and we are sure they will resonate with our viewers.”

The deal was brokered by Rowden and Tess Charman from Warner Brothers.
