“American Chopper,” “Moonshiners” bring in the men for Discovery

The American Chopper Live: The Build Off special proved to be a strong lead-in for the premiere of new Discovery Channel series Moonshiners (pictured), which enjoyed the net’s highest-rated series launch in several demos.
American Chopper Live: The Build Off earned a 3.13 HH rating and a 2.98 P25-54 rating and was watched by 4.77 million viewers. The special featured a three-way “build off” between series regulars build off between Senior, Junior and Jesse James.
Moonshiners‘ premiere episode earned a 2.07 HH and a 1.59 P25-54, delivering 2.83 million viewers P2+.
“It’s incredibly gratifying that after 10 years and eight fantastic seasons, Chopper continues to resonate with its core viewership, and to grow new fans as well,” said Craig Piligian, executive producer for Pilgrim Studios.
Piligian, Ralph Wikke and Mitch Rosa are executive producers for Pilgrim Studios, and Christo Doyle is executive producer for Discovery Channel.
