´╗┐Turner┬áBroadcasting System cable net truTV has upped Marc Juris to the position of executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Juris joined truTV in 2004, when it was known as Court TV. In 2007, he was promoted to exec vice president and general manager, and oversaw the transition to truTV in early 2008. The network says that under his watch the audience for truTV has grown and also lowered its primetime median age.

“Marc is a talented and innovative executive whose understanding of branding, marketing and programming have been vital in building the truTV brand,” said Turner Entertainment Networks president Steve Koonin, to whom Juris reports. “Under Marc’s terrific leadership, I am confident truTV will continue to reach new heights.”
