Investigation Discovery (ID) will air a one-hour special about Robert Hansen – a convicted serial killer suspected of murdering dozens of women near Anchorage, Alaska – on January 25.

Produced by M2 Pictures, Alaska: Ice Cold Killers recounts how Hansen kidnapped and tortured prostitutes and transient women and then flew them to his remote cabin outside Anchorage, before releasing them and hunting them down for sport.

Alaska: Ice Cold Killers portrays a side of Alaskan life that only Investigation Discovery has the credentials to cover, proving that among the wilds of nature, humans are the most dangerous predators of all,” said Henry Schleiff, president and general manager of ID.

The special was executive produced by Mike Sinclair for M2 and Thomas Cutler for ID.
