Canadian production and distribution company Breakthrough Entertainment has promoted former VP Nat Abraham (pictured) to president of distribution, effective immediately.
Abraham will oversee the Toronto-headquartered company’s expanded distribution operations, which encompass TV, film and digital. Breakthrough also recently launched a new films sales unit headed up by VP Marina Cordoni.
“Nat Abraham has earned industry-wide recognition for his many years of outstanding worldwide sales efforts on behalf of Breakthrough Entertainment, which have greatly contributed to the continued growth of our company,” the company’s co-CEOs, Ira Levy and Peter Williamson, said in a joint statement.
Abraham has spent two decades in TV acquisition and distribution, including 11 years as group sales and marketing manager for Nielsen Media Research Canada and stints as VP at 20th Century Fox/Astral Distribution and co-president of Toronto-based broadcast intellectual property watermarking company Audiotrack.
