Distributor Zodiak Rights has signed its first Latin American format deal, with broadcaster Chilevision acquiring Psychic Challenge (pictured).

The TéVé Media Group format will broadcast on Chilevision in April, and the network will produce 13 80-minute episodes in February. Psychic Challenge format follows a national search for people who say they have psychic powers.

The series begins with the initial casting and ends with the finals, and along the way psychic abilities are tested. The Psychic Challenge, which originally broadcast on UK network Five in 2006, has now been produced in 15 territories.

In other Zodiak Rights news, the international arm of Zodiak Media has also secured finished episode deals in Latin America, with the 90-minute documentary Titanic – The Aftermath (1 x 90-minutes) going to A+E Latin America and factual series The Tube heading to BBC Latin America.
