BBC Worldwide launches four channels in Thailand

BBC Worldwide Channels has launched BBC Knowledge, BBC Lifestyle, BBC Entertainment and CBeebies on Thailand’s cable and satellite operator, TrueVisions.

The four channels join BBC World News, already carried by TrueVisions, and offer British TV across factual, entertainment, lifestyle and children’s genres.

“This deal reflects our ongoing commitment to the region – delivering to our audiences a wide range of high-quality, award-winning programming, from factual, lifestyle and pre-school entertainment to comedy and drama,” said Mark Whitehead, senior vice president and general manager of BBC Worldwide Channels Asia.
