UKTV has signed an exclusive talent deal with magician Dynamo (pictured), who will star in two series of Dynamo: Magician Impossible for Watch in 2012.

Phil McIntrye Television and Inner Circle Films will co-produce both of the four-part, one-hour series.

Dynamo: Magician Impossible averaged 1.7 million viewers when it premiered last July in the UK, and will return to Watch exclusively this May. The series follows the magician’s combination of street magic and stunts – tricks that have included walking across the River Thames.

“In series one we set out to create a show with a difference by keeping the shooting schedule fluid and giving the series its genuine spontaneity and appeal,” said Richard Watsham, UKTV’s commissioning editor. “In series two we’ll be throwing out the magic rule book in search of the most visually spectacular new stunts. We’re incredibly excited about the opportunity for viewers to get to know Dynamo better and create even more memorable and talked about moments.”
