Solid acquires “Back Door Channels”

California-based distribution company Solid Entertainment has picked up the international broadcast rights to Channel Production Films’ Back Door Channels: The Price of Peace (pictured), a feature doc on the 1978 Camp David Accords.

Back Door Channels tells the story behind the secret negotiations at Camp David between Egyptian President Anwar El Sadat and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin, witnessed by then U.S. President Jimmy Carter, and the ensuing Egypt-Israel Peace Treaty of 1979.

The doc focuses on the unseen men behind the scenes who helped drive this agreement, with secret missions and internal power struggles.

Back Door Channels premiered at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival in October 2010 and was followed by a U.S. theatrical run, distributed by Fisher Klingenstein Films.
