Ed Palluth (pictured) has been promoted from senior VP to exec VP of global distribution at AMC/Sundance Channel Global.

He will continue to handle distribution for AMC Networks’ international properties, which include Sundance Channel and WE tv, and will report to Bruce Tuchman, president of AMC/Sundance Channel Global.

Palluth has been working with the AMC Networks group for the past 18 years, and has more than 25 years of experience in distribution. Over the last three years, he has focused on the company’s international business development and global distribution and helped launch Sundance Channel and WE tv in countries throughout Europe and Asia.

“Ed helped launch our international business and in a very short time has demonstrated strong results by securing carriage deals all over the globe and growing this critical area of our business,” said Tuchman.
