Paris-based distributor Banijay International will be shopping UK-based Mendoza Films’ format This Is Your Fridge internationally, re-launching it at MIPTV.

The format brings a well-known chef into the home of a celebrity, and tasks him or her with preparing a meal using only ingredients within the celeb’s refrigerator. Originally airing in Scandinavia and Germany in the 1990s, it was recently revived and aired on SVT1 in Sweden, TV3 Norway and TV3 Puls in Denmark. All three networks have ordered second seasons.

“As a unique blend of cooking show and intimate celebrity interview it fits perfectly into the Banijay International catalog and we are thrilled to be the company that will exploit its full potential on the world stage,” said Banijay International managing director Karoline Spodsberg.

Nordisk Film TV format Origins of Love is also being launched internationally at the market by Banijay International, as is Brainpool’s The All-Star Dog Show, in which pairs of celebrities pair up with their dogs in challenges; and Bunim/Murray’s The Power of Music, which gives musicians who have suffered tragedies in life second chances to succeed.

Also launching at MIPTV are the game shows Fools for Love and Trust, reality show Star Save Our School, fact ent format Celebrity Cookout, and a new format from Denmark’s Monday Media, Celebrity Knockout, in which members of the public step into the ring with celebrities.
