Shaftesbury has sold food series From Spain with Love (pictured) to multiple networks in the Asia-Pacific region, with channels in Australia, New Zealand and India all taking the Annie Sibonney-fronted series.

XYZnetworks’ LifeStyle Food channel in Australia, Food Television in New Zealand, Asian Food Channel in Southeast Asia and Fox Traveller India – via Fox International Channels India – have all acquired the 13 x 30-minutes food adventure series, which explores the culinary culture of Spain.

The series has now been licensed in 100 countries worldwide, including the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. “With Annie Sibonney’s fun and relaxed approach to food and culture, this is a series that travels well across many regions,” said Shaftesbury’s senior VP of sales and marketing Shane Kinnear.

Produced by Shaftesbury in association with Henry Less Productions, From Spain with Love is executive produced by Christina Jennings, Scott Garvie and Rachel Low for Shaftesbury, and Henry Less for Henry Less Productions.

The series was co-created by Sibonney, Less and Dale Burshtein, who also serves as producer. It premiered on Food Network Canada and Cooking Channel in the United States in spring 2011.
